ABOUT DENISE

From Reacting to Understanding

I help people move beyond simply reacting to how they feel and develop a deeper understanding of how their body is functioning — using technology and objective measurements to reveal physiological patterns, so they can make more informed choices, take targeted action, and learn how their body responds.

A DIFFERENT ANGLE

Making the invisible more visible

Rather than relying only on symptoms or subjective experience, I’m interested using technology and bringing together objective physiological measurements, feedback, and systems thinking to look at what patterns are behind the symptoms.

My role is not to tell someone what is wrong with them or what they must do, but to help them see, understand and interpret information so they can make more informed choices for themselves.

THE SYSTEMS I'M INVESTIGATING

Looking beneath the symptom

I’m investigating how nervous system regulation, physiological feedback, and interconnected energy systems may help us understand what is happening beneath symptoms.

This includes exploring heart rate variability (HRV) and other physiological measures alongside chakras and meridians as different ways of looking at how the system responds, adapts, and changes.

WHY I DO THIS

My journey so far

My interest in health began to deepen in my early 40s when I encountered a teacher and community that changed the way I thought about health. I began to see it as more than the absence of illness: as capacity, resilience, energy, and potential.

That perspective led me through nutrition, craniosacral therapy, phototherapy, and doctoral research, and continues to shape the questions I explore today.

"I came to see health not simply as something we have, lose, or fix, but as something of great value that we are entrusted with."

The relationship we have with our health shapes how we see it, what we value, what we prioritize, and what we are willing to invest in.
